He oversaw the You are Here PR campaign for the launch of the museum’s £21m Galleries of Modern London. This campaign included the development of ‘Streetmuseum’, the Museum of London’s first ever Smartphone app. This app has now been downloaded 350,000 times. It set the benchmark for the use of augmented reality by UK culture and heritage bodies. The Museum of London recently launched its fourth app – a graphic novel called Dickens’ Dark London. Previously, Robbins worked in international development. He spent two years at the UK government’s Department of International Development and six years at aid agency CARE International. This work took him across Latin America, Asia, the Balkans and sub-Saharan Africa. Robbins was born in London – the city he still calls home.
