Alex Kerr moved to Chicago from Washington DC, where he helped build both a marketing strategy and a business intelligence department at Monumental Sports & Entertainment. He received his MBA from Duke University’s, The Fuqua School of Business, where he discovered the importance of effectively building teams and operational efficiencies. Passionate about blending strong quantitative practices with cutting edge marketing practices, Alex joined Shop Your Way with the task of building a Marketing Strategy team to lead marketing strategy efforts. His role as Head of Marketing Strategy oversees three major divisions – Marketing Strategy (product, partner, and program strategy), Growth Marketing (social, local activations, influencer & networks, digital communities, behavioral science/gamification), and Business Intelligence (strategy & research, data analytics & reporting).
In addition to blending quantitative efficiencies and marketing practices, Alex is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University in DC, and locally at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies. Originally from Chicago, Alex was excited to bring his talents to a fast paced and forward-thinking environment, making a recent move back towards his hometown a natural fit.
